Do I need to unzip my MXL file?
Upload the .mxl file directly. It is a compressed MusicXML score, so you can leave it in the format your notation editor exported.
Will the MIDI file preserve the printed layout?
MIDI carries notes and timing for playback. Keep the original MusicXML if you need staff layout, lyrics, articulations or a score you can print.
What if my score is a photo or PDF?
